I haven't, actualy, because I don't think I can finish a single challenge.. I'm rather busy right now... *sweats* But I learned names of good authors there, too... Johanna Lindsey, for instance... 8)

Well, actually, I'm not reading a new novel right now because I'm rather busy with all our projects and upcoming quarter exams... whew! But when I have time before 11PM, I continue rereading The Wedding by Julie Garwood.... Whee! I haven't yet read The Clayborne Brides yet but I really plan to...

Did you see that The Rogue Hunter by Lynsay Sands came out the other day? It's not a true Argeneau but it has some of the characters in it and flirts on the edges of the family. I am so excited (clapping my hands, hooting and hollering)! I am going to try to get it today. I find that Wal-mart has the best prices on these. I'll let you know if I find it. Have a great day!

Glad you got it working! It's fun to see all that "struck out" stuff ;o). Makes us fee like we're making progress (until I turn around and see my book shelves, that is ;o)).

And I figured it out by asking someone who to do it, just like you did ;o). So, anytime, ask away!

    Hi Beth,

It is pretty easy to strike out text in Blogger (unfortunately I haven't been able to figure it out in Shelfari, though :(. To do it in blogger, put a [ s ] (take out the spaces and in case Shefari turns the less than/greater than sign into some other symbol, cause it does sometimes, the symbol in front of the s should be the less than sign above the comma and the symbol after the s should be the greater than sign above the period) in front of the word you want to strike out. At the end of the word (or phrase) you want to strike, put [ / s ] (again, take out the spaces).

Another little quirk of Blogger is that if you want to strike something in your sidebar, you can only do it if you put the orginal text into a text widget. In other words, if you've listed your books in a list widget, Blogger will not let you strike it out.

Hope that helps, but if you have other questions don't hesitate to ask me ;o).

Hi carpoolqueen, nice to be back!!! Thanks. Silver Angel takes place in the middle east and is about a Harem, first time reading on the subject and the place. I have to say I give it 2 stars the polt was OK. I was not crazy of the location and the Harem storyline. I will try anything once, but I love JL books, this was just did not cut it for me.

There are a lot of good romance novels. During the 70's and 80's I lived on Harlequin's. I would go to the used book store and get them by the bag full. Then, when my daughters became the age of the young women in the stories I quickly lost interest. I still read one when the weather is cold, the fireplace is burning big and I have a cup of hot cider. I have just in the past few months started blogs. I started them for me. I don't have to print and save Bible study articles. It saves a lot of ink. Doylene

Regarding carpooling, I'm still waiting for Little League season to wind down. Whoever came up with "Fall Ball" IN ADDITION to LL season ought to be keel-hauled!

Hi Beth, hope you are fine. I've read The Villa but didn't like it, though i can find all my friends greatly praising of so you may like it, sometimes i have different taste from you as i'm from a different country, of a more conservative habits & customs so i hated the heroine of this book. Dunno if you know about my country. Honestly i became bored of Nora Roberts books of serial killers & stuff. As for my other favourite authors i'm a veryyyyyy big fan of Sandra Brown, i loved her White Hot, Envy, french Silk and The witness. Also i like Linda Howard, i loved Dream Man & HeartBreaker. Judith Mcnaught is a favourite of mine too, her novel Paradise will be my most most most favourite novel, i read other contemporaries for her & loved them too, i also read one historical for her & loved it. Also i tried a Jayna Anne Krentz book & liked it alot so i'll continue to read for her.
Concerning your note, honestly i dunno the meaning of the word "Alpha male" as you know English language is not my native one, also there's a discussion post in readers of Romance group whose word that is not clear for me which is "ooze" . I hope i can improve my language more than that :)
