“Body Revolution Solution
My Daily 30 Minute Journey Phase #1
By Penelope Silvers
Author Penelope Silvers, after trying every diet/exercise program that exists is just as frustrated as most people that need to read this book. In desperation and yearning for weight loss, energy and health, she comes across one way of eating and exercising that not just causes weight loss and muscle gain, but a healthy energetic body capable of lasting well into old age. In spite of not eating huge amounts of food and exercising almost every day, both her and her husband her husband remain clinically ‘morbidly obese, ’yet ironically, ‘fit and fat’. After watching Jillian Michaels tough talk on the ‘Biggest Loser’ they decide that if anyone can do it for them, she can.
Penelope takes readers through Jillian’s daily four-week Journal of what food and exercise her and her husband consumes and their astounding results. The diet is based on real, mostly organic proteins and vegetables, including almond milk/berry smoothies, veggies, salads, and salmon and tuna wraps or pita bread, (Whole wheat of course).
Penelope makes an important point about avoiding soy as in veggie burgers and tofu, since it has been documented as interfering with hormonal and thyroid balance in some people. She also confesses to a slip or two-- back to her old eating habits. If it happens, she says, enjoy it, don't feel guilty and move right back to what is not a diet but a healthy way of eating and living a long productive life.
Author Penelope Silvers, as in all her self-help books, talks directly to the reader, interjecting her sense of humor, making most them feel they are right there with her in her struggle and determination to become healthy for life. Recipes are offered as well, and after reading Body Solution Phase #1 , readers will want to move on with Penelope to the next Body solution Phase #2 and #3 in her series of books. This is a book everyone should read . . . You have nothing to lose except pounds, weight, inches, while gaining a new you.
