I have been in a book club for 18 years, but have always loved to read since I was a child. I love the beach, dogs, walking, reading, cooking, and thinking. I read Ayn Rand at 10, graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz, I fight poverty for a living.

Oh, I think you might really like Jodi Picoult, have you read or heard of her? She has a lot of law and medical stuff in her books it very interesting stuff. My Sister's Keeper is really good and I'm also actually in the beginning of Nineteen Minutes which is about a school shooting. I was crying in the first chapter.

His Illegal Self sounds interestering. Right now I'm reading Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks it's good so far. My dad just ardered a bunch of books last night from amazon that I should get like April 4-7. I'm can't wait for them!

Thanks Grandma! The book looks great. I actually just did a report in history on Louisa May Alcott who wrote the Little Woman books as I plan to read them as soon as I can get it from the library!

Love to you all in Cali!!!

Grandma, you should read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's like the new Harry Potter books. It's totally different from HP but it's so so good. She's coming out with the 4th and last book in the Saga and it is being awaited by a ton of people. There is a movie being made and the guy who played Cedric Diggory in HP GOF is playing one of the lead roles in the film along side Kristin Stewart. This book is great. You should really read it.

White Oleander was a really good book. It was an adult book so there was a little bit of adult content in it. But otherwise it was really good. I would read it if it sounds like your type of reading.
