I have to admit that I flaked. I have read Death in the Family. I don't know what I was thinking. I must have been in la-la land. Now A Lonely Place of Dying I have not. But I saw that it was on your page so I am going to add it to mine. B. :-)

Phantom is one of my favorites. If you have not read it and can get your hands on a copy (it may be out of print) but there is a wonderful backstory to The Phantom of the Opera, simply entitled Phantom by Susan Kay. Where we learn how Erik began, and his perilous journey to adulthood, finally ending up at the Paris Opera house. It is a heartwrenching book. Loved it.I haven't read A Lonely Place of Dying or Death in the Family. I'll have to look into those.I still need to read Coben's The Woods and Hold Tight. I haven't read any of his Myron Bolitar series, although, I have heard those are good as well. If you liked Gone For Good, try Tell No One. My musical tastes are all over the place. Primarily I listen to classic rock, with some of my favorite bands being Queen, Styx, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and CCR. Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Huey Lewis, Celtic Woman are some of my favorites as well. I also like classical, rock, metal, oldies, showtunes, yes, I admit, I like showtunes. What about you? What do you listen to?Have a good week.B. :-)
Thank you for the compliment. I am unrepentant Batman-geek. I am so excited for the Dark Knight. I see that you are a fan of Harlan Coben. I agree, his books are page-turners. Gone For Good is definitely my favorite. Which one is your favorite?Have a good weekend.B. :-)

I know, right. I know they added that romantic portion of it only to appeal to a wider audience though. I loved the track at the end: Regina Spektor's The Call. You too take care! :D
Yes, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader! Me too!
Ballads, acoustic versions, all the slow songs... :) I'm emo, as most describe me... Haha!

no, it's a book by Stephanie Myers! the lady who wrote twilight. it's unrelated to twilight but supposed to be really good. Breaking Dawn is the next in the Twilight series, I want to read it so bad. :)

I saw you wanted to do a discussion group on Inklings, but had your hands kind of full (this was in February). I wondered if you would like to try to get a shorter work of Lewis's started for July (I was thinking, "The Abolition of Man"). I believe it would be much better if we read the same book to talk about.
Prince Caspian was more delightful in the movie than it was in the book. They changed several elements in the story but it was actually more exciting that way...or it was probably because the book was really meant for kids so the book version wasn't as exciting for me.Have you seen it yet?
