I used to read lots of Dean Koontz, but now I'm just too much of a fraidy cat. I stay far away from that sort of thing, now. Door to December kept me up at night for weeks. Whispers still keeps me up at night sometimes.
The Last Templar by Raymond Khoury. His set up irritated the heck out of me and I nearly quit reading it, but once he actually got the story rolling it became interesting. I'm about halfway through.How's Phantom Nights?
