Kite Runner is a very fascinating account of Afghan life and the transition they undergo in very troubled times. But above all its a touching story of a boy and how his childhood has influenced his whole life. Its a must read.
I highly recommend The Kite Runner. You will gain insight into Afgani life and read a very enjoyable story also.Best Linda Bilodeauwww.lindabilodeau.comThe Wine Seekers is now available on Amazon.com
i recommend Kite Runner...
I like the content and story with the use of history, but it was very slow and I was able to put it down and come back.. get me?
As I told another inquiring reader, The Kite Runner flows with its beautiful writing, but the story is bittersweet. Themes of loyalty, betrayal, friendship, and vindication are woven into the fabric of the setting of Afghanistan and rich characters.
I liked it.give it a try. then give your perespective

Kite Runner leaves a lasting impact on the reader.Extremely absorbing, revealing and gives an insight in to life in Afghanistan, more so in the pre Taliban days which was an eye opener for me!This book is a must read.
Kite Runner is a book that will profoundly impress you. The descriptions of life in Afghanistan in pre-Taliban days are wonderful. Reveals a culture that is graceful and warm. And the plot develops in a poignant touching manner. The author has a lumnous style. I thoroughy enjoyed reading it. I am sure you wil too.
