more »I am an adoptive mother of two beautiful children. When they came into my life my world was expanded in so many amazing ways - including my reading list! My current interests are African-American authors, adoption related books, historical fiction, and books about women.
I've rated a lot of my books using the following system,
1 star: I managed to finish the book, but that is the only good thing I can say about it
2 stars: I read the book, I remember reading the book, but I don't remember what it was about or how I felt about it.
3 stars: I like the book, remember the story but don't find myself thinking about it.
4 stars: I like the book and think of it often (or I thought about it for a long time after reading it)
5 stars: I loved the book and it has been made a part of my life.
My Reading LIst is books that I have sitting on my physical shelf at home waiting to be read. My Wish LIst is books that I want to read buy need to dwindle down my Reading List shelf some more first.
