Yes. I read The Wee Free Men and Hat Full of Sky to the kids. Sometimes I was laughing so hard, I had to stop to catch my breath. Are there more? I need to look. What have you read that's good recently? I am reading The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck right now. I just finished Dreams From My Father by Barack Obama. How is your family? We are well. The kids will start school August 7. It's too soon for us. Adam and XiXi will be in kindergarten. Jacob will be in 8th grade, and Beckett will start 5th grade. My parents moved close (about 20 miles away from us). Clark works at home now. We have bought some land for investment. I guess that all that's new. Things are better than we deserve, I guess.

Hey. I just got "The Ladies of Hrace Adeui" from the library yesterday. All I have read so far is the introduction, but it looks like it will be good. There's something resonant of Neil Gaiman about the prose. Have you ever read anything by him? Thanks for the reccomendation.

Sounds good. I will look for it. I just finished a short book called "The Essential Jesus" by John Dominic Crossan. He is a scholar who studies the "historical" Jesus. I found a lot more I could put faith in than I had in the teachings I grew up with. Now I am reading "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. It's basically a romance that takes place in 18th century Scotland. The heronie accidentally time traveled by way of a ring of standing stones. I have a wad of books coming from Amazon in the next week or so. My Mother-in-law gave me an Amazon gift Cert. for christmas. I will look for your suggestion next, though, so we can discuss while it is fresh for both of us. I miss you. I loved the photo of your girls you sent me for Christmas. I'll have to get a good one of my 4 to send to you soon.

Hi Stranger! I only read "In Touch", "Star" and "Oprah" magazines these days, but I'll tag along and perhaps I'll be inspired to put down a magazine and pick up a book!

Yes. I've read "The Red Tent". I should have it on my shelf. I did feel that way about it. I can imagine you and me in a red tent nursing Kathryn and Beckett and just shutting out the rest of the world for a few days. Have you read "The Mists of Avalon"? That's another great one like that.
