    Dear Kahn,
I did join your group but don't know how much time I will have to post. I have 3 children that keep me busy from age 20 down to 8.
I would like to say one thing though. Lately I am feeling more and more that the leaders of countries are not being totally themselves. What I mean is this~~~~ Suppose you are a noble man of high ideals who wants to change the world for a good purpose, so you decide to go into politics. You run for office thinking that you will change evil practices and policies if you can. But when you are totally involved and in office you find out that there are unseen rulers who have great power who threaten to lie about you if you do not go along with their plans.
Perhaps they make make threats to hurt your children or the wife that you love.
So you must comply with their dark plans or your loved ones will be killed.
So you give up some of your ideals in the hope that some good might still come from your time in office--and because you are afraid for those you love.
This, my friend, is what I think happens in the upper realms of government.
Maybe not so much in small towns or cities, but for large countries--I think this must be the case. The leaders themselves are a face without power.
Powers of evil fighting for their own personal gain. This is why I say please do
not think badly of Americans or the west. If you get a way to watch a great old movie called "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington", you would greatly enjoy it. It is one of my favorite movies and shows in story form exactly what I am talking about. It has a good ending but in this world the ending--I am Afraid is not so sweet. However, please do watch it if there is any way you can. You would love it. It would also show you how people of ideals fight.I pray that good will win over evil and maybe that is the best way to fight-- asking God to defeat the powers of evil. The violence then leaves our hands and is in the Hand of the only one who can is Fair and Just and also Merciful. I hope you agree.

I don't know how I can possibly translate your book. I am not familiar with any translating programs of Urdu to English. Do you know of any?

I've been to your site, but I have nothing to say. I've been to the webpage and it looks nice. I'm not sure about the photos you have added on "my" page. It seems as those they are my photos but they are not.

    Peace,

Well, in my country, where we don't oppress women, I'm considered outspoken, not rude. If you'd bothered to read my profile, you would have gleaned that info.

FYI, that picture is not me, but that cowgirl hat is rather jocular & snappy & that trusty 6-shooter means I don't stand for BS.

    Dear Kahn,
I came on of your groups where you were talking about the taliban and I believe you said it was an invention of America. I do so hope you do not think all Americans are bad. Every country has leadership problems. Evil exists in all countrys and in every people group. That is why we must work hard to understand each other. I wish you could have seen the good and kind people I have grown to know. Keep up your discussions and hopefully
you will meet many good and kind Americans
whose hearts are full of love and desires for peace as much as you.
    Fondly,
    Nancy

No, I'm not your friend because I don't know you.

Second, I find your use of the word dear condescending as if you're a much wiser, knowledgeable person than I am, which I doubt.

Third, I have absolutely no interest in discussing religion w/ you.

Fourth, I don't "collect" friends here on shelfari. I'm interested in discussing books w/ them, & after viewing your shelf, say again: We have nothing in common.

Fifth, keep on waiting because I'm not showing up.

Sixth, please go away & have a nice day.

    Dear Kahn,
That is very kind of you . Why does My name show that I am young? Is there
something close to it in your language that is youthful? I do believe in heaven all will be young as well. I look forward to the day that I will be with my Lord and see those loved ones that have gone before--and no more war. pain or suffering.
My prayers go to you ---
