Ready, set, go … The Spiritual formation group begins discussion of chapter one of Foster’s Celebration of Discipline tomorrow. We hope to be doing one chapter a week. Of course one can chime in whenever one likes. I’m really looking forward to sharing this journey.
At, the Spritual Formation Group, I just posted some stuff for the introduction of Celebration of Discipline. I've suggested that we break the discussion into chapters so people who lag (all of us at some time) can plug their comments into the right place.
Hey Jimski, I'm in! Thanks for inviting me! I started Anne's book..I'll let you know what I think, so far it is pretty interesting. She has a very unique way of writing on her life experiences from childhood.Did you say you have an outline or guide that walks you through reading the bible in a better order than from front to back??Love Ya! Some of us in the Spiritual Formation Group is going to go through Celebration of Discipline one chapter at a time, starting after Christmas.Re: another book. The book on your reading list "simple church" looks really intriguing. Would you recommed it?
