Aequam memento rebus in arduis servare mentem - Remember when life's path is steep to keep your mind even. Guided by these words by the great Horace, I find myself in the midst of fantasies and epics that I lose myself entirely to the worlds beyond what is our own. At the same time I find myself learning life at its best and worst of forms thus my mind clears and gathers information through books. I love reading. It gives me focus and at times challenges me to understand deeper what we all perceive life to be.

I'm a fine arts student in the Philippines and am majoring in advertising. As a student artist I find solace in reading and writing. Sketching scenes from books is one of my favortie past times. Robert Harris and Anne Rice are by far my two most favorite authors and taking up ideas based on them gives me artistic energy and broadens my imaginative sphere.

Being here on shelfari gives me a feeling of belonging now that there's a totally HUGE network of bookworms and geeks around here with whom I could relate to. So far I'm having fun!... « less
