I love books. I think this is probably due to the fact that when I was little my dad would read aloud to me. Before I could even properly read, I had been exposed to classics such as Animal FArm and the Hobbit. Then I started reading to myself. I read the Lord of the Rings when I was 10-11. Pride and Predjudice came a bit later at 13-14. I go to the library and come back with a stck of 10 books, the limit that I am allowed to borrow.
Among my Favorites are The Book Theif, by Markus Zusak; On the Jellicoe Road, by Melina Marchetta; The Lord of the Rings, by JRR Tolkein; Before I Die, by Jenny Downham; The Importance of Being Ernest, by Oscar Wilde; Jane Eyre, by Charllote Bronte; Over Sea Under Stone, The Dark is Rising, Greenwitch, The Grey King, and Silver on the Tree, by Susan Cooper; the Hitchhikers Guide books, by Douglas Adams; A veiw from Saturday, by E. L. Konigsburg; Broken Soup, by Jenny Vlentine; And so many more...
I read a wide range of things, but I ove War novels, dont like Sci-Fi, Trashy Romance or New Age Fantasy with a bit of Sci-Fi thrown in.
I love my music, also a lot of variation. anything from Paul Kelly to Avril Langvine to Coldplay to Billy Joel. Love the Lord of the Rings and Phantom of the Opera soundtracks.
Happy Reading!
