Hi, I'm Tawnya. I'm 30 something, married, with three kids. I went back to school recently to get my bachelor's degree, so I don't have as much spare time as I used to. I used to spend most of my time taking care of my family, volunteering in school and church, doing projects, and reading. I like crafts (crochet, beads, paper crafts, etc),... more »

Um...my life? Since I was old enough to read and that was when I was four or five that I grabbed Dr Seuss. I even remember what was the first book I read all by myself: Green Eggs and Ham. It has a special place in my heart.

I just read Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (finished last night). Saw that you have read all of them. I have to say that I loved the book and cried more than I thought I would. Now I will have to read all of them!

V, you should check out The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Pearson. I really enjoyed it. AShe also wrote A Room on Lorelai's street that's pretty intense. I enjoy her writing.

You mentioned last time I saw you that I could borrow your copy of The Book Thief... is that still true? I checked today and I'm still #17 on the hold list at the library so I'd love to borrow yours sometime. (Anytime before September would be great!)

Yes V!!! You can only buy it at Borders. I found it with all the Twilight books. So far it's been great! I love to read what other authors think of the books we love so much! Most of it is really funny and sometimes I think..."Oh My God!!! I thought that same thing!!!"

Thanks for your input! We just read Zookeepers Wife which is about what the Jews went through during WW2...it was a bust, so people weren't too eager to read another book with a similar setting. But I'll put it on my shelf to read on my own because I've heard such great things about it. Thanks so much!

I see you just finished The Book Thief. I'm in another book club and it's my turn to pick the book. Would this be a good one for discussion? The reviews say it's hard to get into at first, but that it's amazing if you keep going. What were your impressions? Thanks a bunch!

Hi Variety. Saw you over on the Lex just a few moments ago. The Internet, oddly, is turning into such a small world for me.
