Apart from my main passion, which is Advertising and Marketing, and when I have time away from my career and my MBA I am most probably reading!
I am a voracious reader. I feel like a good book takes me into a completely different world, and I enjoy vivid, detailed books that move my soul (Shantaram, for example). I love to alternate between fiction and autobiographies, and I am interested in learning about new cultures. I usually go through different phases in my reading behaviour and there was a time when I was completely engrossed in 19th century Russian authors.
My second passion is Art, and I guess thats the phase I am currently going through. So I love to collect books on Art too (I am currently building my collection!)
French books are on my list too and I need to make time for them. Any suggestions are welcome....
My passion for Art has led me to be a Board member on several art and cultural committees, one being the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre which is non-profit. Check out our library on www.theoldlibrary.ae « less
