“I've given many copies of this book away. The basic premise is that we all have a hard outer shell that hinders others from seeing the beautiful life of God that we receive when we're born again. So, God allows "dealings" to come to our lives (hardships, trials) that force us to a place of brokenness and dependency on God. Then, in that area we get soft and moldable. Humility becomes a major mark in our lives.
Afterwards people around find it much easier to see the life of Christ in us rather than just seeing us. That is, after all, what the world needs more than anything else...Jesus.
