I am from Pretoria, South Africa. I am Office Manager for a cellphone company's Head Office (retail). Not so much a geek as just totally weird. Officially voted the weirdest friend that anyone has. I am 32 years old, love reading (yes, my ideal job would be one where I would read all day).

Also an environmental activist when I get the... more »

    Hi Nadya,

I really appreciate you accepting my Shelfari friendship request. If you are interested, I would like to invite you to be among the first readers to review my new motivational book "Moments of Forever: Discovering the True Power and Importance of Your Life" (a registered Shelfari title). It is a practical study in metaphysics that will help you find greater meaning in your life. Please help me launch this special book with your personal Shelfari review.

Hi!! Welcome to the Shelf! And thanks for the friend invite!!
Love your profile...looking forward to finding out more about what makes you so weird! LOL! I have a co-worker who currently holds the title of "weirdest person I know". I'll have to tell her that she's got some competition!

Totally agree with your philosophy about happiness and blessings...I believe it is a choice that we make daily, to be happy (which is our natural state), or to let the illusion distract us from that, resulting in another experience. People often ask me why I am so happy all the time...I say "why be anything else?"
The man that I keep around introduced me to fantasy (books and games) I like it a lot...it's a great excape mechanism!
Looking forward to chatting with you more! Hope you're having a great weekend!!

Hi Nadya, thanks for the friendship invite. I keep a man around too...just in case. They are very handy when it comes to changing lightbulbs. I have a kitten Delilah who I think was a rottweiller in a past life. She is fiercely protective lol. I hope you have a fanatstic weekend!

Thanks for the suggestion. Honestly, I am into non-fictions right now because i want to understand some problems my country is having. If you are an environment activist, i am a street parliamentarian. This is my way of telling my kids that I am doing something for their future.
