    Hi Shagha- it's been awhile since I heard from you last- are you busy with school and your artwork? I am up early this morning and am trying to write poetry while I listen to music. A friend sent me a poem by Rumi last weekend and I really liked it- I am guessing that his work is highly regarded in Iran or is it considered too provocative? I like him, anyway- I hope to get a book of his poems for Christmas. Well, I've been sick with a stomach illness for the past few days, but I am beginning to feel bettter...take care of yourself and I hope to hear from you soon. Jason

    Yes, I know a little, in fact I have a friend from Iran who is an amazing artist, her name is Talia, but I haven't heard from her in about a month or so. She is exploring the idea of sensuality in the Iranian culture and most of her work is not allowed in Iran.

    About my art life...I have several friends and we do exhibitions locally. We help each other out when we can. As for style, I prefer not to think about style, but rather medium and approach. I use many different mediums, and I mostly do installation work or photography. I incorporate video, sculpture, found objects, photos, painting, graphic art, and anything that seems to bring a work together. I also love art history. I also noticed that you have vermeer's girl with a pearl earing right away, however I don't usually comment on such things as it seems that these days many people like art, but aren't really artists, or real art enthusiasts.

    Yeah I'm pretty obsessed with history. I read a book about Winston Churchill about 9 years ago and have been consumed with biographies since. I didnt even like to read before that. I always hated the stuff they made us read in school. Im going to read the Michaelangelo book at some point. Good luck on your exam.

    ok , if i wrote it in arabic , can you understand it ?
    yes the titanic is agood book , it is about that long night on the ship ( the titanic ) , in the begun they start to tell you about some peoples life who is on the ship , and then after you know every thing about them they will show you how the problems start and how the ship sink and how some of them surviv and how others don't ...... it is really good story ..... you should read it .........
