I'm a wife, mom and a grandmother. I am back teaching high school science, for the love of the kids, the camaraderie of working with other teachers, and because the economy really sucks! I relax by making art glass in my garage studio and am looking forward to taking some graphic art classes. I've been a book lover since the day my mother first took me to a library 40 years ago. I typically have 2-3 books I'm reading at the same time, one in every room of the house, (I think its genetic). I read to my 9 year old almost every night. Besides the hundreds of assorted children's books like Skippy John Jones, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, etc. together we've read all of Junie B. Jones series and The Magic Treehouse Series. For the last year we have been reading our way through The Lemony Snicket Collection, and have reached The End of The End. Though a story about Beatrice is on the way. « less
