An avid reader...and that is how I am here-:)

A person, who love to read books & articles on any kind of topics and subjects below the sky...from maths to medicine and astronomy to philospohy to psychology...to biographies...however, my preferenes are more for non-fiction work as compared with fictional stuff...

Then, I love music and my bunch of hobbies are - playing electronic keyboard, harmonium, tabla, sitar; listening to all kind of classical, semi-classical, folk music, old songs from Hindi films, private marathi songs [natya sangeet, abhang etc.]; folk music from Gujrat, Rajasthan & Bengal; composing the music, learning Salsa/Cha cha, Bachata..(latest addition - these days:)

Apart from reading and music...my interests are: yoga, meditation, spiritualism, tantra, tarrot cards, astronomy, self-development, cooking/fine dining (I love to try different cuisines across the World - and some of my favourites are: Italian, Mexican, Vietnamies, Thai, Mediterraian, Cantonese, and many cuisines from different part of my own country!), playing table tennis and chess [very much online player on different websites - wanna play online chess with me-:)], learning languages (at present attempting to acquire basic conversational skills in Spanish, German and French), stamps/coins/postcard collection from different parts of world, penpals (they help me in building my aforesaid collection), photography (NOT so good with my Cannon Digital Camera, but still trying some luck there), nature watch, astronomy, history and ancient civilizations, cryptozoology, paranormal, understanding different religions & faiths across the globe...uuuuhhhh too much...to boast...!!!!
