There's nothing better for me than going used book shopping. Thrift stores, Goodwill, yard sales, used bookstores, you name it. I've loved reading ever since elementary school when I would order books from the "Weekly Reader." Aaah...the good ole days!

I have a pretty wide range of interests...love fiction, horror, young adult, and... more »

I've become slightly addicted. :) I joined the online book club Christin helps with and it's addictive. Amazon also doesn't help that much (no offense to B&N--I love them too, but I don't get their employee discount). Even though I have like 4-5 books on cue to read, I still find myself getting lost on the aisles of books where ever (btw, Kroger has a hardcover section even). So nerds shout loud and proud WHOOOOOO!!!!! I've been looking at the new books with Jane Eyre and some crazy sci fi thing, are those good? :)

Have you read Hunger Games? It's awesome, I think that's what Christin was referring to below... I am totally addicted to Shelfari now!! :)

So far I really like it, but you question yourself a lot. I mean it's about a fight to the death between 24 12-18 year old kids, so should you really want the heroine to win? LOL

Ok. I know we have it on the book club list, so I want to try and suggest it as a March book choice. :)

Saw your question about 13 Reasons Why. I'm a 24 year old, avid, avid reader and this book blew my mind. Not the simple YA book I expected. One of the best books I read in 2008, so definitely read it. FYI, you'll really want to read in one sitting, so put aside some time. (good thing its a relatively short read.)

Hi, and welcome to the Chiller group! Just wanted to let you know about a few things we have going on in the group. First, I wanted to let you know that our October reads are K. Patrick Malone's titles, Inside a Haunted Mind and The Digger's Rest. He's a member of the Chiller group and will be leading these discussions so feel free to join in. The group's been around for a while so there are a ton of threads. Hop on over to our introduction post and tell the group hi and talk about your favorite horror authors. Feel free to start your own discussion posts and browse our growing group shelf.

Any questions at all just ask, same for suggestions or ideas. If you would like to be added to the list of people that receives group update notes, please add Diamondgirl as a friend and leave her a note letting her know that you want Chiller updates.
