I love to read, but with 4 kids under 10 I have limited time to enjoy my hobby. I look forward to the day when everything is done so I can sit, guilt free, and read to my hearts content. So for now, reading is my escape from my Mommy world, and I love it.

Because of my husbands job we move a lot. We've lived in Mississippi, Oklahoma,... more »

It took me two days to read it and I did like it. I remember you telling me about that and I was a bit worried but it was a much better read than I anticipated. All the "just two days ago" stuff was really overshadowed by what was going on. Either that or I just skipped those parts (I tend to skim the slow parts sometimes). I did enjoy reading it but, hey, all I've been reading these last two weeks are textbooks and I needed a break.

I still have not purchased tennis shoes #11, but am hoping to soon! It just came out September 8th and it is way over due! I hear that this one leaves you hanging as well and you have to wait for the next one that I think will be called Thornes of Glory? I loved fablehaven too. Oh and I love the Josi kilpack books!!! They are more then just cute, they are faced paced and funny, and if you love cooking then these will be some of your new faves. She has about four out in her culinary mystery series with another due in the spring! Start with Lemon Tart and you will be hooked! Nice to meet you! Sounds like we might have a lot in common. I read at night when my kids are in bed too!! It is the best time to get lost in a good book!

Suzy, I think you'll really like Band of Sisters. I was waaaaay impressed with it. It really gives you a new perspective on war, soldiers, and women. You might need a tissue too.

Go see "Julie & Julia". So good! Warning to Jared, I'd classify it a chick flick.

Don't go see the movie "The Time Traveler's Wife". It naked butts, naked butts, naked butts. Seriously? They so could have had the camera just a little bit higher and we still would have understood they were naked. Uurrrggghhhh, hollywood.

I got all your recommendations! Thanks! I love that Black Book of Colors. This is gonna sound really dorky, but hey, you know me!! The first time I read it I was so touched by the entire thing I had tears in my eyes. I know - dorky. :))

Figured it out. When you open the edit box on a book there are 4 or 5 options across the bottom of the box. In the More To Do window, there is an option to Recommend. Click on that and follow the instructions.. Send me one as a trial and we'll see how it works.

Haha! That would have been so funny! (about the SU! thing!) Unfortunatley I quit selling in like June or July... very sad day for me :(. But yes I totally understand the whole wanting to study Nutrition! The book I am reading now I just love!.... Now if it would just allow me to magically melt away a pound for every page I read! ;) But I hear you on the sweets!

That's so funny that you just added Fairest. I just finished that two days ago too. We must be on the same book wavelength or something.

Thanks for the note. They sound like Jane and the Dragon, which is a cartoon on Qubo. I'll give them a spin once I have some free time to read.

We really do like a lot of the same books, don't we? I really like the Fablehaven series. It's definitely YA fantasy, but you seem to enjoy that like I do. I have added several books from your shelf to my Plan to Read list. And yes- Brisingr comes out next month. I'm eagerly waiting.
