It's not always easy to figure out what someone would want to know about me. So I guess I'll just mention what I'd like to know about someone else who's here.

I'm an avid reader. Too much so sometimes. I like to read a mix of genres, styles and subject matter. I tend to read more fiction than non-fiction except when I'm researching... more »

I think i've read Appaloosa. It's a good one. when i was young i had read a book called Tonka...it was also about a red indian horse. don't remember the author's name though. would like to get my hands on that one again. on these lines, the movie SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON was superb. a real masterpiece in animation and tale-telling.

Oooh, like your picture. I write both fiction and nonfiction and read the same. So we probably enjoy similar authors.

Thanks. Let me know how the other goes. I read James Patterson's The Beach Road. It had a multiple viewpoints approach, too, but I was still able to connect with a couple of the characters. The ending was a total surprise! If you like Patterson, consider this one.

I see you are reading Ken Follet's Whiteout. Do you like Ken Follet's work? I read Key to Rebecca, which was about El-Alamein in WWII. Since I knew the outcome of the battle, the "suspense" was pretty much ruined for me. I've never read another Follet, but I've been tempted. How much of his stuff have you read?

    Thanks! Debbie

Sign of a truly sick mind. I just added AACR and AACR2 and the partial revisions I read. Thought you would enjoy a chuckle.

I see you are enjoying this site as much, if not more, than I do. I particularly like it for tracking which books of the more prolific authors I've read and which I haven't. Talk at you later.

Write a note on Ruth Ann H's page.I've read the first three of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood vampire series. They continue to improve as she works out the specific mythology behind the world she has created.

I don't often read 'traditional romance' novels, unless they come recommeded by someone I trust, but the romance genre is continuing to go through a major evolution and there is some excellent writing being produced.

I've tried several other 'supernatural romance' series, but so far Ward's books are the ones to hold my interest.

Say, Ruth Ann, no vampires in my space opera saga, but might you be interested in a review copy? If you do that sort of thing. Current book is "Righteous Anger", book 2, but the way I have structured the start it is equally meaningful IMHO to start with book 1 or book 2.
