“What if you came across a collection of letters written by a member of Hell's upper management to one of his staff members? Wouldn't you want to share them with the world? C.S. Lewis does just that in this book, giving us a unique look at the good versus evil dynamic. Depending on the reader, the book can come across as funny, strange, and maybe to some, even "wrong". This reader, however, found it to be witty, entertaining, and best of all, thought provoking. At least once per "letter", I found myself nodding in agreement, or uttering a "huh, yeah, that makes sense", or just rereading a sentence to grasp the weight of what was being said. Not for everyone, but I found it thought provoking and a very enjoyable read.”
