No problem. Sometimes I forget to log into all of the things I have online. It is crazy. :-)

I am currently reading Stolen Innocence by Elissa Wall and find it to be awesome. I'm anxious to know what others think of it.

I know what you mean but she got out finally. She was so brave to testify against that monster Warren Jeffs. He went to the hospital yesterday for convulsions. Too bad for him but today he is back in jail. I hope he suffers for all that he has done to them. Some of them have families that have been in for generations and they don't seem to know any better but I sure hope the children get removed again so they can have a fair chance in life.

Hi Delphina, no problem. I'm reading "New Moon" Stephenie Meyer right now. It's the second in the "Twilight" series. Have you read "Twilight" yet?

Hi Delphina, I'm in Colorado. I'm looking forward to some good discussions. What are you reading now?

I'm reading "Skeleton Crew" Stephen King. I picked it up because I was mad at the way the movie "The Mist" ended and even though I know I've read this book years ago, I couldn't remember that terrible ending. So now I'm reading the whole thing, it's been too long to remember the details of the stories. LOL

Thanks for telling me about the Traci Depree series. I will take "Aprons" back to the library and try to get the other books first. I know that Traci lives in my area and has had a book signing at our local library and I had no idea who she was so I didnt go. Now I suppose I will be sorry I missed it. The places she describes in her book are only an hour away from where I live and I have never seen them. Her descriptions made me want to go visit them. Maybe next summer!

I just got Aprons On A Clothesline by Traci Depree from the library, not realizing it was part of a series. Do you think the books need to be read in order? I read your review and saw that you gave it an A+.

Hi! Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We had a death in our family last week and a birthday party for my son who is 18 today, besides the usual Christmas shopping. I'm normally a pretty relaxed person and dont like the hustle bustle of the season.

I am 51, married for 23 years, 4 boys, 3 grandchildren, 1 dog, 1 cat. Besides reading and Shelfari, I love gardening, crossword puzzles, country music and summer outdoor activities. I live in Minnesota and hate winter. It has been so cold here. Today is a little warmer.

I am finishing up Boom! by Tom Brokaw. Brings back a lot of memories and also things that I never knew were going on in the 60's, as i was pretty young. Enjoyed reading his perspective on how the 60's has influenced today.

Your shelf is very eclectic. I see we have a lot of books in common. Hope to talk to you again.

Hi! Thanks for the note. i have read the Julia Fox Garrison book. I am a nurse in a long term care facility and this book really helped me to see inside the minds of my patients. I sure would hate to have her for a patient though!!

I'm just starting Cant wait to get to Heaven by Fannie Flagg. I see you've read it. Did you like it?

Cute pups!!! of course the fact that they look like me has nothing to do with that! To ask someone to be a friend you click on the gray tab on the top right hand side of their profile page. Welcome to Shelfari...we need more cute dogs!
