Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread Group guidelines. The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. I hope you will enjoy the group and perhaps join in one or more of the monthly reads. Our February books are The Wind-up Bird Chronicles by Murakami and Of Human Bondage by Maugham. Our March books have been chosen and they are #1 is The Unfortunate Traveller by Thomas Nashe This book was first published in 1594 and can be found in the public domain. # 2 is Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
#3 would be Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky

Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!

Hai, Nice pic here too. Currently i am reading NEXT by Michael Crichton...the author of Jurassic park & Lost world...first time i am reading his works...basically science fiction...not an easy read...but i am liking it.Heard abt it from smeone else so wanted to try it. I keep whatever books i take from the lib on my reading list & as i finish each one of them i add them on to my shelf.
