I'd rather read than clean my house.
I can't ride a train, plane or automobile without a book.
I Love to discuss what I'm reading.
My favorite presents are in print.

Rosemary, I have read lovely bones....it was great. I am reading "The Pact" by Jodi Piccoult now. That one is really good so far.

Jeebus...what'ja do, go to Amazon and copy over all the thriller chiller books you could find?

I'm glad you put Sedaris and Sallenger up on your shelf. And I'm glad I finally got around to asking Steve and Sam to be my friends. This site looks fun!

    I only read non-fiction (sorry!).

    Highly recommended:
The Power of Now (5 stars!)
Any of the American Revolution bios like: John Adams, Ben Franklin, 1776, Lewis & Clark Expedition etc., many by David McCollough. They are fascinating and make you appreciate our forefathers.
    Also:
Wisdom of Our Fathers by Tim Russert .

The first and last can be read in chunks -- great for a get-away.
