] "Howdy! I'm a Damasio fan too. Any other brain book recommendations?"Hey Audry - My other favorite "brain" author besides Damasio is Joseph LeDoux. Especially his most recent book, Synaptic Self. It contains a fairly thorough chapter that summarizes the most relevant material from his previous book, The Emotional Brain, so I would start with Synaptic Self. Some of the early chapters really dig down into the electro-chemical reactions within neurons, so I tended to gloss over those chapters in favor of the less technical chapters. Hasta luego - Dallas

Hi Audrey! I would recommend Lamb. It is my clear fav of his and very funny. Do you have anything you would recommend me seeing as my fav authors are Vonnegut, Moore and Robbins? All funny, wacky and big on big ideas!
