Steve, I'll be interested to see how you like QUIET. I haven't read it yet, but downloaded to my Kindle after reading this interview with the author: http://www.ordinarycourage.com/my-blog/2012/5/31/an-inspiration-interview-giveaway-with-susan-cain.html.

    Hope you're well!

    Hi, Steve,

Have you ever heard of Bibliotherapy ? A firm in Uk gives you a phone interview and then recommends books you would enjoy reading.
I gifted my daughter with the consultation and she raves about the accuracy of the "perscription". You may want to check it out...

    Steve,

I started my own shelf early this year after finding yours! This is a fun way to share and keep track of what I have and what I've read. There are a few books I have been hesitant about posting.

I have a new position and have discovered two more "levenger junkies" at work. We trade our fantasy wish lists and marvel at one another's purchases. What fun ! Thanks...
P.S. Enjoy "Tinkers" It's one of my very faves..

Hi Steven - It's interesting looking at what you've read. You're all over the map! I have a habit (a bad one?) of find an author I like, and then trying to read everything they've written. John Irving, Pat Conroy, Barbara Kingsolver, David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs. I love their stuff.

I'm going to recommend The Help. I guess it's kind of a girl book, but about a very interesting time and place.

Thanks for introducing me to this Steve. It looks like fun. Though I read almost exclusively fiction (except of course for business books, which I have to read for work. But they bring me little joy).

    Steve,

Just picked up on this site from your blog. I set up an account and started populating my shelves. Thanks for the tip. This appears to be a fun and entertaining way to track my reading.

    Hi Steve,

Good to "see" you again; hope you and Lori are well. Enjoyed your book a while back. If you ever run into Denise or Maddelin tell them I said howdy.

    Cheers,

Thank you for the recommendation. I added Truman to my list of books to read. I can't believe you happen to know Les Stadiford. I absolutely loved his book. I may not live there now, but I spent my entire youth in Florida and came to know and love all topics related to the FEC & Flagler.

Thanks for adding me as a Shelfari friend. I see that you have read "John Adams". I see that you gave it 5 stars. What would be the best presidential biography (any president) that you have read?

    Hey, Steve,
I'm much honored to be tapped to choose a book for the group, but I don't know where to begin. Can you give me a clue how to narrow this down? Best, H

I agree--but I just tried to add my most recent reads to my shelf, and the search results showed nothing for major writers like Jane Smiley. Isn't that strange? Have you had a similar problem?
