Thanks for introducing me to this Steve. It looks like fun. Though I read almost exclusively fiction (except of course for business books, which I have to read for work. But they bring me little joy).

    Steve,

Just picked up on this site from your blog. I set up an account and started populating my shelves. Thanks for the tip. This appears to be a fun and entertaining way to track my reading.

    Hi Steve,

Good to "see" you again; hope you and Lori are well. Enjoyed your book a while back. If you ever run into Denise or Maddelin tell them I said howdy.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

Hello, Steve. Thanks for the heads-up about shelfari, and for your invitation. I have started my own bookshelf, and it can be very absorbing!

Thank you for the recommendation. I added Truman to my list of books to read. I can't believe you happen to know Les Stadiford. I absolutely loved his book. I may not live there now, but I spent my entire youth in Florida and came to know and love all topics related to the FEC & Flagler.

Thanks for adding me as a Shelfari friend. I see that you have read "John Adams". I see that you gave it 5 stars. What would be the best presidential biography (any president) that you have read?

    Hey, Steve,
I'm much honored to be tapped to choose a book for the group, but I don't know where to begin. Can you give me a clue how to narrow this down? Best, H

I agree--but I just tried to add my most recent reads to my shelf, and the search results showed nothing for major writers like Jane Smiley. Isn't that strange? Have you had a similar problem?
