This is the third part of the already mentioned trilogy (Noughts and Crosses). For the third time, no compromising, moralizing and second thoughts about who sheds tears (and over what), who is in pain, who wants to die, who gets killed, who loves, hates, despises and whom. There's a lot about the mother-daughter relationship. Even if there's a lot of time leaping, it's not really confusing.

I'm going to say this one more time: whoever didn't read the Adrian Mole didn't have a kid-hood. How the world has changed in 20 years ...! Or has it really?

Ah! A scary book! I liked the language, it made it all even creepier. It makes you, like, "die, you ... vampire!" and root for the solicitor dude and his gal. (sry for my pick of words, it's 1 am and I write Biology test tomorrow, so I'm panicking)

All about this book can be expressed like this: xD Very, very funny and thought-provoking as well! I think everyone should read this, they might learn something. :b My favourite part: J.'s very serious conversation with Mr Knobby Knobster (laugh my pants off)

It's not about the story really. It's about what goes wtih it. The language. The scenery. The Alchemist. The feeling that everything is possible. The fact that if you can't find something on your backyard, you don't need it. My favourite part is definitely the one with the wind. I wish I knew it by heart.

Honestly, when I first read this book I liked it. Now they made us read it for final exams at school and I've read it so many times I have Christopher (and his little rat, too) poking out of my ears. Sadly, becasue the book is something really refreshening.

Another Paasilinna, so it means that some strange people find themselves in a strange situation and they are dealing with it in a strange way. This one is (in my humble opinion, of course) even better as The Howling Miller. The characters are even more peculiar and you enjoy every page of it. It just makes you keep smiling, smiling, smiling from page to page as you read it ... one of my favourites!

What else can be said about this book? Well I find the most amazing part of this book everything that is behind the story - all the creatures, lands, languages, songs, nations, kings, history, etc., etc. And the mind that made all this up. Wow.

It's the second book of the trilogy, so nothing special really happens, but is just as filled with emotions (sometimes they even leap off the page into your heart and eyes) as the other two are. After you get a glimpse of what is going to happen in this book in the first part you want to grab this, but as soon as you finish it you want to know the end!! It works fine and I guess it payed off as well :b

Strange, but very interesting and really special piece of art. Makes oneself ask who can really be pronounced normal ... and by whom? Also the pictures of the Northern Finland are very descriptive. Wonderful!
