I love to read in my rare down time. I'm usually busy chasing my two girls. I love to read popular books to find out what the hype is all about.

When you receive it, I would mark it return to sender and see if they take it back, try to refuse it. Sorry, you had to go through that. That's a bummer!

I got so upset I called Borders.com and cancelled my order...or so I thought.. I just got an email telling me the book shipped! So I have been on hold now for 15 minutes waiting to yell at someone. I ended up buying the book from Krogers of all places. So I just got through and Borders tells me that yes the order was cancelled but the warehouse overrode and it shipped. So now I have two copies of Breaking Dawn... I am never buying from Borders again. Customer service was rude, they didn't even offer a discount or gift card for all this nonsense. If I return it to the store I only get store credit.. if I return it to the warehouse I am out the money for shipping. I'm so pissed!!!
Oh man.. will I be pleasantly surprised????

Jessica, I had never been so embarassed. I was the only one above 16, LOL. I'm about 500 pages in. It's a big book. Your going to be surprised, that's all I can say. I would have never guessed. I'm hoping to finish it today :)

How was the party? I'm so curious to hear about it. Guess what, remember how excited I was that I pre-ordered Breaking Dawn and it was going to be delivered to my house August 2nd. Yeah. it never came! I'm so mad at Borders and have to wait to 11am (as the chirpy recording told me for the customer service line) to complain. I would've gone down yesterday and picked it up if I would of known this.. grrr. So have you started the book yet???

Thanks for the welcome. I just finished reading Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil for the book club at the library. I thought the characters were colorful, but the plot was long and boring. I'm obsessed with the Twlight series. I'm going tonight at Midnight to pick up the new book and to a Twilight party. I even designed a few Twilight tee-shirts. Check them out http://www.zazzle.com/crysta911

LoL, I abandoned that a long time ago and told myself.. "Well, I'll watch the movie" but now I see the movie wasn't that great either! I am glad I didn't buy it, I was at Best Buy yesterday and thought about buying it, then got frugal and told myself to wait and rent it.
Love your picture by the way! You are so pretty!

    Hey,
Ok STILL reading Eat Love and Pray, but am halfway through it. I am liking it so far, am still in Italy. She is so brave! I don't know if I would have the courage to move to another country to learn a language. I'm a worrier and would be thinking about saving for retirement or could I afford it.. lol

January is wide open for us. If you don't want to get a baby sitter we can come down there to do something or have the kids join us. You know it is never a problem with us.

I LOVED Angela's Ashes. I just finished Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. I am saving it for you. I think you will like it. I am reading right now Lay of the Land. Very wordy. and I am not sure where the plot is going. It has "Book of the Year" on it so I hope it gets better. We are open to going out at any time.

    Hey,
I haven't read any other Jennifer Weiner book, except for The Other Sister.. which was awful, in my opinion. Whats the The Little Earthquake about? I don't know if Grisham wrote another football book.. I haven't read any books he written though (can you believe it!) I ordered his book Skipping Christmas from the library.. so that should be good hopefully.

These were my selections: 1. "before i die by" Jenny Downham

    2. "Playing for Pizza" John Grisham

    3. "Atonement" Ian McEwan
But Crysta said that unless you are a football fan, Playing For Pizza can be boring... so I figured not everyone on the list are football fans. I said make my other choice Rhett Butler's People, it sounded good. There are so many books I want to read.. I keep making my wishlist longer and longer. I emailed the addy for it to my family.. so I will hopefully get some as Xmas presents.
