I am an ordinary dude man...lip service says we all ordinary but we got ordinary folks tryn 2 look like angels n stuff..i stay where i am, doin ordinary stuf lyk hanging around with ordinary pple. Chinua Achebe aint Kenyan...he's West African but his literary works are just priceless globally...he is among the literary pioneers of Africa that we know today...look at stuff from Taban Lo Liyong,Elechi Amadi,Ngugi Wa Thiongo..n u tel me if u aint smellin the scent of African originality in them. The simplicity is just beyond words..its a feeling of the direction we are headed, based on where we been lol...have a nice tym!

To be honest I didn't read much books in English and especially novels... I'm not as familiar with En as I read novels in En. in my shelf if you look out, the only books I read them in En, was Saving private Ryan, some parts of veronika...& some parts of Alice in wonderland. you see I'm very beginner in reading English novels.But in otherside I'm good in reading computer books in En even better than Fa, cause my college course is computer:)I'm 24 male, not married, (long time relationship:P) and my name is different of my nickname imei, but I'm more familiar with imei in internet (I used to it many years...)and about Arundhati Roy, well I's shocked when I found that you are from the same town!I guess you're from Shillong,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shillonghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arundhati_Roy Right?:PBut about her English I should say since I didn't read its original book I cant judge about that but I liked translated copy!
