Love books, love to read. Once read a hat/t-shirt slogan that sums me up well: What a perplexing life I lead: Do I stitch or do I read?
For the last several years, the answer has usually been read, although I do have a major needlepoint project in progress. I'll have to admit to being old enough that many of the books I have read, I read 40-45 years ago. If I remember reading them, they are automatically worth at least one or two stars, depending on if I remember whether I enjoyed them or not.
I am currently working on updating my reviews and adding tags. If a book shows none of that information, it means either I haven't read the book yet or I haven't updated the information.
About the name: I am not an antisocial person! Several years ago there was a TV program about Roller Girls, women who were involved in the sport of Roller Derby. The women all had alter ego type names. One day, some of my friends and I were claiming rights to our Derby names and I came away with Auntie Social. It was going to be that or Miss Information. I think I chose well.
