So are he books on knitting helping with your knitting? A new book out this month you might be interested in is, Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor. I'm adding it to my shelf, books I plan to read. I'll probably have to move it up the list as it looks pretty good. We'll talk soon.

Lord take this cup away from me....
"I can't son, it belongs to you"
But Lord this cup is too much for me to bear!
"You can handle it, Jesus drank from the cup"
    But Lord I aint Jesus!
    "But He lives in YOU!"
    But Lord I am weak!
"His strength works best when you’re weak"
But Lord have you seen what's in my cup?
"Yeah I know I put it in there!"
But Lord there is sickness in my cup!
"And I called you to heal"
But Lord there is confusion in my cup!
"And I called you to teach"
But Lord there is pain in my cup!
"And I called you spread my Word"
But Lord why do I have to drink THIS cup?
”Because I want you to act like my Son!”
Last question Lord....Does everyone have to drink this cup?
"Everyone has to taste their reality"

Do you have family in Jamaica? Make sure you go to the historic spots. The government has offices in Spanish Town (central part) with historic and government documents. Try to avoid the "touristy" areas: Negril and Ocho Rios. Kingston has some nice clubs and house parties. There is fishing on the South coast boats. My email is infoseeker560@inbox.com. I'll be glad to share more...

If you're looking for good books by Asimov, I haven't read nearly as much of his work as I'd like to, but the Foundation series is a lot more fun than I, Robot. Both are fairly well-written, but the Foundation series has a very unique basic premise. A really good thing about Asimov though is that most of his most famous books are compilations of short stories. So, you can read Foundation, and there'll be some resolution even if you don't keep going. His robot series is the same way, although I've only read the first book of each.

As far as groups go, I've joined a bunch but not been that active in any of them. Honestly, school has kept me pretty busy since I joined shelfari. I've noticed that the group simply called Science Fiction is very active. So active I can't keep up at all! The Erotica Readers Group is also really active, and the group "Vampires, Witches and Weres" is active. So, depending on which of those genres you're into, I can definitely recommend those groups. Most of the other groups I'm in have a bit of activity, other than the sexual groups. Those, it seems like everybody joins them and then nobody talks to anybody else.

Hope this helps! Did you like V for Vendetta?

Wow! I can't believe that you speak portuguese! :D How cool! You can read Mario de Andrade to start, his stories are very nice, and the way he writes is not complicated to understand.

I'm enjoying the college a lot! :) Very nice things to read, learn and discuss! :)

    Até mais!
