My favorite job was working at local bookstore, Pages for All Ages. It was THE best independently owned bookstore in the world, until it had to shut its doors after 20 years due to the horrid economy. (It was seriously one of the saddest events in my life.) My current job, teaching, is rewarding, challenging, and awesome. BUT, it never gives... more »

I just finished Watchmen. I totally agree with your review. i just didn't get it either. I'm still new to reading graphic novels. I'm still planning on seeing the movie though...to see how it compares. Can you recommend any good graphic novels?

Isn't that too funny?! I didn't know if I would actually remember all the books I read, but I found that as I saw titles, the books came rushing back! Hysterical!

Hello again! I really wish I could've just stayed on and been the sped teacher there, but alas I have to venture out on my own =( I ended up getting a job in Des Plaines at a middle school!! And you know how much I [3 middle schoolers so I am very excited. I can't believe the summer is over already, but I got to travel a bit and I've been reading a lot of Shakespeare so I'm able to cope with it more than my friends. Say hello to everyone for me.

yeah, I was being hounded too to read a graphic novel, and Watchmen is like the the Bible of graphic novels or something. I liked it, I'm not a big super hero fan, but I thought Rorschach was awesome, and we have the same birthday.

Robin McKinley is the author of "Sunshine". She doesn't normally write vampire books she mostly writes YA fantasy. She's one of my favorite authors. You can borrow my book when Tina's done if you want.

Hi Amanda, I am afraid I read far lighter material than you do - I love everything I have read by Thomas Perry - he tells a great tale
