Somehow, it was not easy to figure how to answer your note about bookclub. But, you did miss a wonderful night. Dottie not only reviewed the book but also some brought some music clips to enhance it. Most had not read the book; it was difficult to get. I read some of the book, mostly, the parts post WWII. I enjoyed Ross' writing style and was amazed at the controversy between composers. I think this book humanized the composers and gave me some new insights but it is not a book that you read at one sitting.

    Hi Julie -

Nora Roberts writes under the pseudonym of JD Robb. I really like her main characters - set about 70 years in the future - a woman police detective (Eve) and her (now) husband Roark (suspect in the 1st book in the series). It adds a bit of romance with the murder mystery genre.

Have you read any JD RObb?

    Hi Julie -

I'm a Sweet Adeline in Denver (in the process of moving back to Ca) and I like to read mystery, romance and just about anything that is fast paced (no horror).

Hope you are finding fun things to read! Any particular authors that you like?
