“Reading this book just affirmed my beliefs in magic and Paganism; which teaches the same thing, actually. It’s really about us – as individuals – creating the world we live in, and being responsible for it; instead of believing that someone else controls our destiny and forgives our actions. It really is all about You, and how every thought and action creates the present and the future. Once I discovered that, life was much more empowering, and I was no longer a victim of anyone or anything.
I really enjoyed “The Secret” because they put it in easy-to-understand terms, and brought along many recognizable faces (like Jack Canfield) to add validity. While the “you are God” message is disarming, it has many layers of truth to it. I hope people can look beyond that, and take the real message to heart.
