    Hi there,
    Thanks for you question about changing the name of the group. I chose the name because i wanted people to see the "survivor" attitude, as opposed to a "victim" point of view. I do believe it is a battle... win some, lose some, some are rained out.

I really appreciate it. you said some of the stories in Me Talk Pretty One Day were somewhat disturbing. in what way did you mean that? i ask this because I've been looking for something new to read and I'm wondering if "disturbing" has the slightest chance of turning into "just different" in my case

    Ms Kitty, I like to go back to each of my Shelfari friend's shelves from time to time and review them. I just did yours this morning, and thoroughly enjoyed it. What is it about seeing some of our favorite books on other's shelves that warms the heart? I guess it validates us a little somehow....Anyway, I picked up a couple of suggestions and read some of your comments. Thanks for sharing! Read on!

    Girl, i am sitting up in my bed right now, chatting with you. That is my little dog Summer. i rescued her, got her well and found a wonderful home for her. I miss her. But, it was best. She is living better than i. They sent me that picture so i could see how she looks. Take care, Jackie.

    Love your name too!! :) I almost ended up with it until I changed to MizKitty due to my chagrin at being a grown woman and still not knowing the difference between Ms and Miss. Oi.
    Looks like we have a lot of books in common, and the ones I haven't read yet have all seemed interesting, especially Angel Cats. Plus, we're survivors. The only downfall being that we don't live close enough to have a coffee clatch maybe sometime. Ms Kitty, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
