The Novel has been written in backgrounds of recent international political burning anti terrorism, computer sciences, action, thrill, adventure, fiction while central plot encircles anti Peace world over conditions. At the end of novel the world's all nations begin to live peacefully and pay regards to each other irrelevant to religious attachments, territorial and racial limitations. The main point is novel is to destroy all anti peace forces of world and to covert into peaceful world.

In the end of Novel all Nations agree on these Points;
That all countries will pay due regards to respect other countries. That all countries will not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. That all countries shall wind up and disband their secret agencies. That all countries shall dismiss and terminate their respective armed forces so that huge expenses made in the name of defense could be used for welfare of people… That all countries shall lift bans of visit visas so that people can come and go in any part of the world freely. That the developed countries will take along and help developing/ underdeveloped countries… That people of all countries shall enjoy complete freedom of religion and every body shall be free to offer prayers to Allah Almighty as he wished……and others……….see my Novel

The problem is inherent in the mortgage market, propped up further by a policy of "fostering" homeownership and poor overall policies.
As long as mortgages can be refinanced with fixed rates and long horizons, the interest rate risk for financiers is massive (see '79 S&L crisis, '91 S&L crisis) leading to substantial government exposure. The exposure risk with the GSEs is similar, but with no real gains for home-buyers. It's amazing how much of the crisis was driven by not just by the GSEs own holdings but also the loans they "stamped."
And the geniuses who decided that neither high-risk financing methods nor widespread fraud applying for loans would matter very much should be drawn and quartered. But we still haven't taken any steps to address the overall systemic troubles with the housing market in any way, which continues to drag down the entire economy with it.
Then throw in the way Goldman deserves a come-uppance for the ways it scr**s its own clients. But that seems unlikely when its personnel are floating throughout the halls of power. Oh well, just my $.02. But it is infuriating, especially when we refuse to honestly evaluate how it all went wrong. Everytime I see W. Buffet on TV, I now think, hey that's the guy whose rating agency drove us all over the cliff -- but maintains his company shouldn't be held liable and is fighting a $1 billion tax bill. Boy, am I glad we're in the best of hands.
Sorry I missed this -- i didn't even realize there was a place for this...
I'm sure this is too late, but if I had to choose which to go with first, I think it'd be all the devils are here. They both hit necessary facets of the whole thing, but I think understanding the wall street side makes it easier to understand some of the political drivers.
I'm pretty slow to respond, he? Cutting For Stone came highly recommended to me, and I will get to it eventually. I think it'll be a while though.
