I was never a conformist reader. Most books I've read are titles many people haven't heard. I believe that quality is never in popularity. It's all about luck (and intelligent buying). Luck when it comes to choosing rare and uncommon titles, taking the risk to buy them, and finding out in the end they're way better than those books on the front shelves. It's all about finding yourself by reading things you never knew you'd like, ever.
I like non-fiction better than made-up stories. I don't pretend to be academic, but I like those that are closer to real life, if not real life itself.
But you know what? Once in a while, I still find myself in Charles Dickens' worlds. It's great rereading the Dickens I enjoyed while growing up.
