Well, I saw your shelf and thought that you like fast-paced plots and romance stuff... (Correct me if I'm wrong...)
If you like romance, you can try Linda Lael Miller...I read her My Outlaw and was impressed by her style of writing.. I read another one of work, titled Yankee Wife, but I was a bit disappointed because it isn't as good as My Outlaw is... I guess it just depends on the work...
But try Sidney Sheldon's works! He's great! Well, I'd recommend Rage of Angels and Nothing Lasts Forever - my two favorite books written by him... But I also recommend Master of the Game and The Doomsday Conspiracy, because some people think they're his best works.
    Hope you enjoy!

I have only read the first one in the series. I have yet to collect the next one. I haven't been in a big hurry to do so. I liked the book, but it wasn't what I would call a "historic novel" though. It's more of a paranormal with time travel. But still, the writing was good. I plan to read the rest, just not in a big hurry about it. Hope this helps. We all share such varied reading tastes and styles it's hard to know what to recommend or not to others. Hope you stay occupied with good books! I know I try! :)
