I just graduated college with a double major in Communication and Political Science. I'm currently going back to school in an attempt to apply for an accelerated BSN program to become a nurse. I have loved to read for as long as I can remember, but attempting to get that 4.0 has really put a damper on my reading fun!
Some authors I really enjoy are: Marian Keyes, Harlan Coben, Sophie Kinsella, Meg Cabot, Melisa De La Cruz, Dean Koontz, Lisa Gardner, Jodi Picoult, Mitch Albom, Lauren Weisberger, Jane Green, John Grisham, Cecelia Ahern, Agatha Christie, Emily Giffin, Cara Lockwood, Elaine Viets, Sarah Strohmeyer, etc. I love books that can make me laugh, and I also enjoy the light, fluffy, read, to escape from real problems. However, I do love novels that can stimulate my mind, and string up some emotions in me. I love a good cry.
Other things I enjoy include my boyfriend, my pomeranian (RIP :(], ANY dog, shopping (oh how i love to shop), blogging, attempting to cook, casinos (unfortunately i love blackjack and the slots) anything Pooh bear or Disney, travel, writing, the beach, girls' night, dancing, Hello Kitty, intellectual conversations, parties, spontaneity, taking pictures, cuddling, massages, scary movies, people that can make me laugh, good food, getting good grades on papers that I procrastinate on and don't start until two hours before class, down to earth people, guys w/good hygiene and fashion sense, experiencing new things, museums, theatre, big cities, nightlife, BMW's, Thai food, tennis, the occasional trip to the gym (which needs to become a daily routine), adrenaline rushes, celebrity gossip, and spending time with people I care about.
Things I dislike include heights, shitty tippers, horrible drivers, my irrational fear of death, pessimism, cockiness, girl drama, nagging, not being taken seriously, people who abuse their power, riding in cars with people who are BAD DRIVERS because I get extremely carsick, people who don't take care of their hygiene, black licorice, waiting in lines...but i try to be a positive person because I especially hate facebook updates with people complaining all the time!
*My plan to read shelf is my wishlist shelf...books I need to remember to check out at the library when they are available, or somehow get a hold of!
