I don't know if you've read any of Lynn's or Karen's books yet, but if you plan to may I suggest starting with the Redemption series by author Karen Kingsbury, or the Refiner's Fire series by author Lynn Austin. They're both incredible series of books, with the Redemption series leading you through several more series of books.
