yeah, i liked it.how old is your little brother?
Hi Anna!Well, I thought it was pretty good, I would say it lived up to hype I had heard. The historical aspect was the force that really holds it all together. Then again, I like stories of times gone by. It really paints a picture of a world almost unbelievably real...my mind struggling to grasp the truth at times. It reads easy, yet is also very engaging, even though on the occasion it wanders through detailed descriptions a little much for me... I like landscape, but wow! The interweaving of seemingly different, yet connected story lines was intriguing. At first glance it seems like the focus might be on the "murder and madness", but really there is so much more there, and for me it really became very secondary for large portions. The architectural aspects were also interesting...maybe because of my interest in architecture?? ;) Really, I think it is just a great historical, and more important fascinating, read. You should check it out if you haven't already. I would love to have seen it, even in today's world it is a little hard to imagine.Let me know what you think! I'll have to hit you up for a couple recommendations here...I need to get back to reading more...and branch out a little :)Happy reading!!-jason
Catch 22 has an odd sense of humor. But if you start it and you like it then I'd say keep reading because it's mostly like that through the whole book. I really liked it.
it was really interesting.scary, but you learn a lot about polygamist mormons.
Hey Anna,I'll post some of my favorites soon. How ya doin'?
