Rhett D

I am the author of two mainstream fiction books, "The Madhatter's Guide to Chocolate" and "Up the Devil's Belly".

For as long as I can recall, I have been an avid reader. I tend toward fiction set in the South, but will read different genres if the writing is tight and the story interesting. I especially like humor!

Oh okay, that's good to know... I put your books on my wish list for the holidays, that I have given to my family.

I will let you know what I think of them after I've read them. Cheers!

I am looking forward to reading your books... Just as a suggestion, after reading the summary of your novels. I'd love for you to include the following in future books:

I think in the future you should put a twist on your 'southern charm' themed books. Maybe modernize it a little to add a little flavor? Perhaps you would be willing to consider a character battling a drug addiction or maybe a homosexual character? These are all just ideas that might be able to aid you in becoming more popular, and allow people to really find the bauty to the "southern" theme you love implementing... show that southerners can be warm and embracing.

i hope you found what i said helpful. Nonetheless, I can't wait to read your books. Thanks!

I'm not at University Sales and Service at the moment. Got some time on my hands. I'm going to the Tallahassee Film festival this weekend with my grandson. As a fellow author, would you be interested in a book exchange?

Hi! May I suggest another Southern comfort book, Bonnie K. Winn's "To Love Again." This takes place in Rosewood, TX, so this novel may be your type of thing.

Hi! Thanks for choosing me as a friend! I love the south, books set in the south (especially southern dysfunctional families!), and southern writers. Of course, as you've seen on my shelf, my tastes are widely varied. I'm looking forward to many lively chats with you. Be sure to check out Readers Anonymous (friends list) and the coresponding online book group. So far we are all ladies. I think you'd feel quite at home with us.

Hi Rhett, I live near Savannah. Like you, I have traveled near your home often on the way to Alabama or Tampa. You live in a rich literary community. Harry Crews, who I believe still teaches at FSU, was born near me in Alma, GA.

    Hi
Nice to hear from you! I am a music teacher in Pennsylvania. I love to read a lot of historical fiction, fiction with a music theme, some mysteries and non fiction pertaining to history.
I enjoy going to the gym, music activities (I play in a community orchestra), going to concerts, my pets, and travel. I am going to look up your books!

Hi ! Glad you found my Group ( For the Love of Reading).
I am most interested in your 2 books. I see that Amazon has one, but not the first one you wrote which appears that it should be read first.
Would I be able to buy your 2 books from you?
    Thanks.
