    True he can be pretty critical. He especially criticized England in the Kingdom by the Sea. of course, Polynesia came under its share of criticism in the Happy Islands of Oceania book. Finally, Africa and its corrupt governments were criticized in Dark Safari.

    I agree with you on Bryson and Theroux. I think every now and then Theroux does get serious whereas Bryson never does. I am thinking of Theroux's Oceania book and Africa book. He does criticize the local culture in those books. Do you agree?

You are right on in that many people are curious about the life of working on a cruise ship and there are few actual books that take you behind the scenes. I am proud of my book because it makes you laugh and is a real journey. Thanks for your support and I think you will find it a great and intriguing read.
