It's coming out in soft cover in May from Unbridled Books. I'm also a journalist and regularly cover the film beat for indieWIRE.com. I've... more »

I'm sad to say that I did not finish the book. I had heard such great things about the book and Diaz was even a guest on the Tavis Smiley Show (which I love!). The book did not hold my attention and I had to give up. I'll pick it up and restart another time.

Most of the Kindle books run between 5 and 10 dollars. I love the paper experience as well, but the Kindle is an inexpensive way to check out new authors. Saves the environment too. I can grab a book for between free and $10 and then if I like the author, I'll buy the actual book. What's nice is the profitability to you (the author) is still pretty high. I think you get a third of the retail price they charge if memory serves.

I looked on amazon and it lists the paperback at 11.95 and the kindle version at 24.95. Is that right?

I just purchased Conscience Point today . . . I look forward to reading it soon!
Thanks for your thoughts regarding Balzac's vision . . . it helps. But I still felt that the book left many characters dangling - - even if that was Balzac's attempt. However I will keep ruminating on this . . . often novels grow on me over time and thought . . . as well as discussions over cabernet!

Hi Erica, my wife and I are avid readers of the Huffington Post. I think the Israel Lobby is a fascinating book which raises a lot of worthwhile questions. The only drawback is that it's perhaps too scholarly a work for most readers.

Thank you for the friend invite. I need to go downstairs and find daddy's copy of the Look Homeward Angel and put it in my pile of TBR's. It's been years since I last tried to read it. And, I'll be put your book on my list of books to read also. Thank you for the suggestion.
