“It was just as expected- a fast, funny and sometimes suspenseful read- made me laugh out loud without the ending being predictable.

The only thing keeping me from giving it a five is that the characters seem a bit stagnant. After sixteen books, I'd think Stephanie Plum would be slightly more competent as a bounty hunter. I can understand her not liking guns, but you'd think she'd have the brains to at least keep her stun gun charged and with her at all times. The scatterbrained bounty hunter schtick got old five books ago. We readers know she'll never be great, but she could get a little better. ”
