Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Smith

Hello,
I enjoy reading and am surprised at how many novels I have read, while still being a tentative and loving wife and mother :). Christian fiction books have been my most preferred to read. They've played a significant role in different areas of my personal life.

    Hello Mrs. Smith:)
I'm wondering if you are enjoying "Oceans Apart". Is it much about a dog, or is the dog on the cover not a big part of the story? My friend (Holly LeBlanc, also on Shelfari) has a service dog and loves to read stories about dogs.
    Have a great day!

Thank you Mrs. Smith, for your reply and recommendations. I love Civil War stories, and will start with Ms. Austin's books here. Again, I have read most of Karen's books and have loved each one. I'm so glad that you are open to other author's as I have another that I dearly love. That would be Deborah Raney, I first read "Beneath the Southern Skies" and the sequal "After the Rains"; and I can't rave enough about the novella "Playing by Heart", it has suspense, humor, romance, and shows how God works in bringing two unlikely souls together in a most unusual way. And all of her writings bring our Lord into the characters lives. I've just recently finished her latest Clayborn series, set in a small town weaving the people in and out of both books. They were very uplifting. I hope that you will check her out. It's Friday, and I hope you and the other members all have a happy and blessed week-end.
