hey! sorry this took a year! (can you imagine)this is a really difficult question coz there are just too many books to choose from, but i'll try. my absolute fave is "The Alchemist" of Paolo Coelho but the french version because its just so beautiful in this language.now the two is kinda vague but I'd say "Like Water for Chocolate" and "Stories of Eva Luna"... guess those are the ones that stand out when I think of it... hope this helps :)
